Here is a list of just a few of the ministries we're involved in at FBC!
Helping Hands is an interdenominational, non-profit organization that is designed to reach out to the community by providing clothes, food, bibles, and various other neccesities. Get involved by donating items or volunteering your time!
Meet with us every Monday morning at 9:00am as we pray for our church, our leaders, and our community! Then, at 10am, join us for a Bible study. We also meet every Tuesday at 7:00pm to fellowship together while making quilts for needy people in our community!
The Missions Development Council is leading our church to be more involved in missions. We are currently ministering to our community through ESL classes at our church every Tuesday night! Church members have participated in mission trips to Canada, Ethiopia, Zambia, Tanzania, Israel, and the Texas Coast in 2009. There is definitely a place where you can plug into missions at FBC!
GROW is a weekly visitation program designed to follow up visitors and encourage them to continue attending. It also gives the church an opportunity to witness to those that have yet to come to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Many church members can say that the main reason they now worship at FBC is due to visits from members of GROW! Come and be involved in visiting, calling, and letter writing! Pick one Tuesday a month - 7:00pm
Kairos is a prison ministry for those in a maximum security facility. Ways to become involved in this are through prayer, providing meals/baking cookies, or actually going into the prison to minister to the inmates one-on-one. Get involved in this life-changing ministry!
The youth group at First Baptist Church is dedicated to providing teenagers with the eternal truths of God's Word in a fun and safe environment. If you are curious about what teenagers do, or want to know how you can be more involved, then check out our Youth Ministry page!
